Thanks testing it now. Although I used a jst pigtail and the black and red were backwards, pretty sure I haven't fried it... Pushing in about 4.9 volts.

Thanks Fred, I think that's spot on. Now it's been sitting in the Stevenson screen for about 18 hours, it seems to have calmed down and producing much better results...
