whoever wants to look into this, please [create an issue and PR on Mocha's issue tracker](https://github.com/mochajs/mocha/issues/new). The problem is likely somewhere in [this function](https://github.com/mochajs/mocha/blob/31c019e0fffb4e77b7191ac5882edbe15f581c0b/lib/reporters/base.js#L194).

I'll be watching this one--Mocha should understand these errors.
