I guess alsa-lib-devel needs to be present for this (version min required?) and that needs checking in cmake'ry and condition added to new source. (@madebr may help with that if...
There is at least this rtf file from SDL-1.2 tree, which should really be free: https://github.com/libsdl-org/SDL-1.2/blob/main/Xcode/SDL/pkg-support/resources/License.rtf
Also, linuxdoc-tools can output to rtf using sgml2rtf
Patch is utterly broken: looks like copy+paste'd from an incompatible work.

OK. In any case, @ericwa: Should we apply the patch (the corrected one I inlined above) to mainstream?
@mankrip: I'm not applying the patch for now, per @ericwa's comments. If there is a reproducible case to demonstrate the issue, it'd be great.
Ugghhhh -- is such a command ever allowed? And it looks exaggerated to me. @ericwa what do you think?
