It's possible that it would have progressed from the blackscreen into the game after a while, apitracing, especially on windows, can be very slow.
Sounds like the fix is to play on windows without dxvk. If this does not happen with the AMD drivers on linux it's most like a driver and not DXVK...

FWIW, there is another game that similarly complains about the Agility SDK not being available: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/6288 Maybe a dummy D3D12Core.dll would help there as well.

You should try a build of latest master instead of 2.9 for this game.
I suppose with VK_EXT_subgroup_size_control (core in vulkan 1.3) it should be possible to force the driver to use 32-wide subgroups on GPUs that support it, i.e. AMD GPUs since RDNA1.
