Can you run `ls -ltr hdf5-1.8.14/configure`?
That script still does not have execute permissions. Did you run `chmod +x hdf5-1.8.14/configure`?
@mikeds211 can you open a new issue, and let me know which version of nanopolish you're trying to compile? The latest version on github (and 0.14) should disable -lbz2 so...
Which version of GCC is this? I tried with 7.4.0 and get a distressing number of warnings from Eigen. Nanopolish is committed to c++11 so I don't think this deprecation...
I upgraded to the latest Eigen which silences the warnings for me. I only tested on GCC 7 though
