Actually, retail locks you after "zone in" until you are fully loaded. Something we dont do.
This PR seems abandoned and in need of a rebase. I'll close it and open a new one.
Its not that "stats aren't loaded" Stats are modifiers and quitea few pieces of gear in general are not defined in the item_mods.sql and item_latents.sql
