The FText AOB is only optional in the latest experimental builds, not the official 3.0.1release, so you could try updating to experimental and see if that helps.
There are potentially other offsets that are different that need updating.
So normally I would agree that this is a good change, but the next release is going to be a breaking release regardless so I'm not going to put forth...

Please test the download in the first comment of #945 when it's available.
Try turn off all hooks. If it works, you can narrow down the bad hook by re-enabling one at a time until it stops working
