Because our helpers now use one geometry there is a lot of z-fighting between e.g. bounding box of a floor and grid or axes and grid helpers.  One solution...
So we can render gui and overlays after transmission. That would be additional stage on top of existing renderBackground, renderOpaque, renderTransparent.
Cant this be something with how mipmap level is calculated? See digits getting blurry faster than one would expect from mipmap blur  And when very far away / small...
That means we can't recover geometry faces when trying to snatch geometry from gltf file
