Removing the zstd compression significantly reduced the usage after uploading files in my testing. Strangely, using a lifetime ZstdCompressor context further pushed up the memory usage vs. what we do...
Memory usage of athenad is only 1.4% after uploading a few routes, think this was something zstd was doing
Right, but this looks like a regression for all the stock long cars (cruiseControl.resume never activates). Will re-visit after Ford.
Can you post a route where this happens?
The model in experimental mode failing to resume at traffic lights is different than controlsd setting the carControl.cruiseControl.resume signal based on the planner/lead BTW, that's what this issue is for
This works on a recent route, not sure if this was a real issue. Closing 
This is because liveParameters is learning the offset ~equivelent to the angle. Also noticed the lateral control type is also set to torque despite the simulator being an angle car.
