@vanaukenk Should we bring this up on an annotation call ? I dont see any reason not to implement this as a filter as soon as possible.
@ValWood IPR028591 maps to GO:0034427, which is not listed in the original comment of the ticket. The script strictly takes these IDs into account.

Which child terms are you referring to? - children of GO:0019932 second-messenger-mediated signaling are not being obsoleted - I dont think other terms have children?
