Looks like there are things we can do in the libtransmission space. It uses libcurl forhttp and https scrapes and announces< and according to lob curl documentation its dns lookups...

Between the http / https cleanups in `tr_web` and the UDP cache checking in #2641, this should greatly reduce the DNS lookups compared to when this issue was filed. @Anuskuss...
