I see camera / mic detection and usage being implemented very well in "spatial.chat". When disabled, camera is e.g. "released" for usage in other apps. Camera selection in Forefox works...

How difficult is it to disable the check, until this problem can be worked on? I'm having people continuously click on "Reconnect", although the TURN server connection is working fine.

I have a simlar patch, so I'd rather 👍 this than to post my own. I am also willing to help in order to get this merged.

I will try to update the patch versus master in the near future. In the meantime, please check release 9220, it should apply cleanly against this one.

I tried this today and still had high load and audio dropouts. I also saw that network bandwidth was not reduced, so maybe the "low" quality setting does not always...
