We have version numbers, nothing wrong with having multiple version numbers in the tree. I would prefer all the source files in the same directory tree.

NCP can only talk to 256 hosts, Therefore it will require a mapping table. My thoughts on this are that IMP will package up the NCP packets into a UDP...
Host tables only had a single byte for host number so not sure how you could have more then 255 hosts. And several hosts were special for testing.
