Software model is now part of the Nautobot core, so this would have to be implented there. Software model will be removed from DLM starting with version 3.0.

@jvanderaa Is the proposal to have something different than the existing "Exclude missing software" filter? 

Implemented in `next3.0` using native Nautobot `Contact` model.

This would be a great addition. We'll assess internally how much effort would be involved here.

I agree in principle, but core would need to be modified to allow assigning of the software to the modules first.

`nautobot.core.ui.object_detail.ObjectsTablePanel` requires Nautobot 2.4.0+ . DLM 3.0.0 supports 2.2.0+, and I don't think we're going to move straight to Nautobot 2.4.0+ in DLM 3.1.0.
