Separating the routes and the functions seems like a fine idea to me. BTW, Flask-RESTPlus might be another good example of how some other frameworks do their swagger stuff.

Very interesting proposal! I'm a contributor over at rjulia. (I refactored quite a bit of the rjulia R julia C code a while back.) Perhaps I can provide some insight....

changing the REQUIRE to julia 0.7 triggered femtocleaner immediately. Adding it to the repo and adding a "Run femtocleaner" issue did not.
