Maybe this is a specific product and should be obsoleted ?
I only see Exp to Ecoli genes: https://www.ebi.ac.uk/QuickGO/annotations?goUsage=descendants&goUsageRelationships=is_a,part_of,occurs_in&goId=GO:1903607&evidenceCode=ECO:0000269&evidenceCodeUsage=descendants
Hi @ValWood The 'obsoletion candidate' flag was certainly too generous. I moved 'protein-tetrapyrrole linkage' under protein maturation, including children and grand children: - 'protein-bilin linkage' & children - 'protein-heme linkage'...
@rozaru to look at other members of that branch and make a suggestion as to how to deal with this.
Will we be using the same ticket for obsoletion? Or is the current ticket only for the do_not_annotate?
@sjm41 Please add any suggestions. We can discuss this on today's ontology call. Thanks, Pascale
Edited my initial comment to include the MetaCyc example
@RLovering I made the spreadsheet here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1xb3KinaCAQwpyTLYx31vBlYtBv6nQGRPFfH5L5Gm5hI/edit?gid=1336750034#gid=1336750034 90% of the annotations are to protein phosphorylation or a child, and look like signaling molecules. These should be easy to make decisions...
Thanks Ruth, that's a huge step !!
Normally extensions are in the file as well. Let's see what the error reports say... I hope you're doing well also :)
