OK, that sounds good. For now, I've modified my version to get rid of the vertical padding.

In my epub viewer, I just patched epub.js to remove the vertical padding. I then set the vertical padding on the container, and the horizontal padding in epub.js.

I'll probably fix this in a slightly different way (by also matching `*` under headings) so the precedence still works properly on other elements.

I'd be willing to take this as an option prefixed with `experimental_`.
