I actually think that there shouldn't be any extra logic. The `constants.json` file can be loaded with `importlib.resources` module, which should work both in built, and unbuilt cases.

TBH I don't see any commits that could change anything related to this, see [history for the extension](https://github.com/starkware-libs/cairo/commits/main/vscode-cairo). Nonetheless, I'm relieved to hear that this is now working for you!
