Yes, things are in flux with the transition to 24.04. Once migration is finished, things should quiet down a bit.

This needs more information in order to be properly diagnosed. Can you run it under a debugger to try to get more information about how the crash is happening?

I'm going to see if I can reproduce this locally with and without ros2/rclcpp#2142
