You'll need to set `WINEDLLOVERRIDES=dxgi=n`, sorry I did not mention that. I will also get the game and test it myself.

The Rockstar Launcher uses swiftshader anyway on Proton, doesn't it?

It has long been decided that OPAQUE_FD is syncobj compatible on Linux.
