After a chat with @thijsc, this is due to a bug from `mio` Rust crate. We'll cover it with https://github.com/appsignal/appsignal-agent/issues/708
There are two different `Span` types that fail the build. A bit of help/guidance here would be much appreciated.
I'll work on this shortly. I am closing the PR to keep the repo clean.
Hanami v2 is now supported in AppSignal for Ruby gem 3.3.0 (https://rubygems.org/gems/appsignal/versions/3.3.0) Follow instructions here: https://docs.appsignal.com/ruby/integrations/hanami.html
Hi @HusseinMorsy. We'll work on this in the upcoming future. We'll let you know as soon as we start with it.
That change doesn't cover our needs. Here's an open issue reporting problems with the change: https://github.com/open-telemetry/opentelemetry-js-contrib/issues/2146 Internal link with the conversation: https://appsignal.slack.com/archives/C06TU59PXDF/p1714031628760559
This is fixed in newer versions of @appsignal/nodejs (^3.4.8).
Agreed with having the conversation.
Moving this to backlog until we're able to log via HTTP. Pino transports are run as worker threads. We can't pass the client safely as an argument to the worker...
@mgm1313 hey, thank you! Yes, we're considering this and we're moving it ahead soon.
