I'm closing this because I could never reproduce any of this. I strongly suspect this is caused one of the following: - driver bug - unstable OC - dying hardware

I think it's useful but I'm not overly attached to the idea.

Unfortunately I can't reproduce this with the apitrace and I don't own the game.

Maybe I'll look into it at some point but I simply don't have time to mess with Witcher 1 mods at the moment.
