Quite difficult to find good examples out there, just using this as a scratchpad... Some useful basic info at https://www.giserdqy.com/wp-content/guids/geoserver-2.14.0/user/styling/mbstyle/cookbook/index.html ... but a full example would be useful from somewhere...
