This font doesn’t contain any of these characters, so what you’re actually seeing is a fallback font, which won’t necessarily have the same metrics as SCP, hence the differing widths...

I’d also rather keep those decorations off the official coding fonts… Maybe shipping them in separate “Alt” fonts?
