This shouldn’t be an issue anymore with the new navigation, which is more space-efficient.

Radio buttons could work here to reduce that ambiguity.

This issue has been fixed with the implementation of the standard tab pattern of Vanilla.
I recommend using the Squash Git Commits Weblate addon to reduce the log spam.
But Weblate is just gettext; in its side it _does_ allow for plural forms according to the language.
I question the need to add a separate American Spanish translation, as it unecessarily complicates its maintenance. I suggest removing it.
