1. Duplicate image: image has parent_id value, but "parent" does not have the "has_children" flag set. 2. Child: image has parent_id value, and "parent" _does_ have the "has_children" flag set.

Add a config JSON file for the browser: path to image files; background color for picture view; path to database; what else?

Trying to find a specific image, even when filtered by tags, is very hard. Add thumbnails view to be able to look at large #s of images at once.
