Unfortunately this is at present blocked externally by the fact that we are not yet in a position to update the Qt version.
@Grillzombie can you please let us know what specific sound you are using for the tenors in the mixer? Does it reproduce when using MS Basic or VST as well?
Moving to 4.4 on advice from dev about potential riskiness inherent in making this fix in 4.3.
