This problem on windows is exactly as I stated. This problem exists because the app is non-native. It opens a white canvas and before the rendering engine is active.

When I click on "manage plugin" no window opens when Altstore has the plug-in installed. If I uninstall the plugin, the perferance pannel works again.

I believe there is a tweak for that. It's trivial to add. Better Cercube supports this.
