At least on GTA VC on PC this was how trees work while in PS2 they blend correctly. Quick test on GTA III with `wine` and `pcsx2` showed that behavior...

Probably issue with save game loading? Before segmentation fault error message `No instance for ID 8961` is printed. Crash boils down to opcode `01BB` which calls `getObjectPosition()` where segmentation fault...
