Would still be nice to have. ideally add a prompt to wait until the file can be replaced, so I don't have to recompile the whole project again.

Idk, some times you want to reference functions in hotdoc, but I guess mostly not. As a quick "fix" you can press "Escape" to get rid of the popup.

I think the migration should not be the default, tbh. Do you propose a specific class that has to be used, or what?
