I have been talking with @andytuba about new Reddit. IIRC the issue was pinpointed to some React validation, probably detecting a keydown or something like that.

The redesign isn't supported.
It's more of a miracle that those features work than a guarantee. RES will most likely always be built for old Reddit without new Reddit in mind AFAIK.
