For me - in a bespoke web app .... that has a password-reset option.

My google account requires 2FA, and It seems to be stuck on a 'using your security key step'. I'm using YTMdesktop via an Ubuntu snap; perhaps the 2FA issue is...

@jgspratt unfortunately that doesn't work for me - on step 5 I get this after entering my email address. 

Hm, I'm using an ubuntu snap, i suspect it's being difficult for other reasons (v1.13.0) which may explain a lot.

For me reducing the thread count (-c 2 ) seemed to stop it. YMMV etc. This was on a small VM with under 2GB of RAM.

ditto, works fine with PHP 7.4 as well.
