I was under an impression that you can do both from CMR2.exe and CMR2Network only doesn't require a disc to play? I'll have to check again.
It doesn't surprise me, as this SP works as a D3D9 wrapper. It is entirely possible GPA cannot handle it. FYI, PIX worked just fine last time I checked.
