Don CookiePLMonster, I want to bring to your attention certain problems in the community. The people.. they say I don't know how to make pasta, I don't use hand gestures when talking and worst of all.. that i'm not Italian. While all these things might be true, I must beg that you please review this crash dump. I yearn to run, to take cover then hit the wrong button and drop my gun.

Please see attached windbg crashdump analysis. I know enough to use windbg on a dump file but thats about it. If there is something more useful please let me know.

To be clear I did extract silent patch into the godfather dir. I didn't adjust any settings in the .ini.

Oh btw this is retail pc version. I even have the maps!

Just noticed I didn't explain when this happening. I just installed the game. When I run as admin i'll see an EA window, cdrom will spin up and then it will crash. No game menu or anything. I also tried renaming the movies folder to _movies. No tiramisu. :(

So how the game is now working, which is odd as I can't figure out what I did. The first time it worked was when I launched from dvd instead of install dir. I thought maybe I did something in the .ini from silent patch but I couldn't see where anything had been changed. Only issue now is I can't seem to change any of the video settings or controller options. I'm guessing this is from access to the registry being denied? I noticed a comment in the code about writing to a special dir. Going to try that out later.

FYI even though I tried my best to support original executables, they may or may not work. I recommend trying with a no-CD executable.

Pls help. When I type the name character it crashes. Where could i get the fix?
