Status update from triage: this is still blocked, but we hope to have it unblocked soon.

@GaryQian It looks like this will need a minor test update (for the fragile private class references).

Closing since per https://github.com/flutter/flutter/issues/109628 we aren't going to worry about minor updates for this.
