@raulcd I'll have to take a look, I would guess we can drop it but you know how it is with cran etc.
As mentioned in #41403 I think we can remove the centos based jobs or migrate to something newer for the libarrow binaries (9? or rocky/alma not sure what our stand/choice...
Might also be useful for other things to have this mapping available :+1:
Hey thanks for you work on the package! I just saw this issue and wanted to recommend the great {bench} package with the function [press](https://bench.r-lib.org/reference/press.html).
@Yuhta fyi the use of cuda_driver api requires some additional links and packages to be installed, I added those.

But I think joris is right here, we use a current version so we should be able to just switch over as long as we maintain the versions.json file? >...
