This sounds like it's related to https://github.com/zesterer/openmw-shaders/, not this mod. Could you confirm?
If you so wish, you can adjust the interior light intensity as desired by switching to the `CUSTOM` preset and changing [this line](https://github.com/zesterer/openmw-shaders/blob/main/shaders/config.glsl#L58).
This should now be fixed in the latest commit (confirmation would be useful)!
