Are you in the same situation as #29? I don't really have a fix for that one other than ensuring that host vars and group vars live under the inventory.

The fix might be as simple as #44, looking at it again (doesn't fix #29, sadly)

I'd suggest using a custom template (using the `-t` option) to achieve this. Other than `all`, there's not really any such thing as reserved groups, as far as I'm aware.

Can you add the result of `ansible-inventory-grapher --version`. I don't have a copy of your inventory to reproduce, but if I use the repo at https://github.com/willthames/ansible-ec2-example I get the group...
