Yes, it seems like everything works except DISQUS.reset() If you put a breakpoint on it it seems like it is working fine but the comment thread remains the same.

What do you get exactly? I don't experience it. This is probably not related to this plugin, maybe a cookie or browser issue...

I leave it to you to adjust your design to leave space for the comments, the plugin shouldn't mess with your layout.
