@sp-hill i've made a PR for this issue in the novotnyllc/SoapFormatter version... probably the same modification would work for Mono also.

Perhaps an idea would be to support Ctrl+Home / Ctrl+End to go to Begining/End of file. this would be the same keys as most other text editors.
