In general, I'd support a matching, as well for the translation as for elucidations / user-friedly definitions and interoperability. This could be a student's project I guess.

I like the definition proposed. The cited part suggests a logical relation such as `'system boundary' 'part of' 'conceptual model'`. We should keep that in mind for #1952
@LillyG901 could you cite the relevant part of the paper for finding a definition, please?

Maybe we can find a relation between conceptual model and system boundry? `is about` might be a simple approach, although not very specific.
As addition to @ColinHDev explanation: the oeo-closure will be removed from the usual push workflows. With #1956 its creation will be only performed in the post-release procedures.
Could you give an example for a computer model that is not a numerical computer model? I think, for energy system modelling, the computer models used are typically numerical computer...
