all good @nkubala :) so far it seems to work just fine. though as a note for fileExistenceTests, using backslashes (`\`) always fails. You have to use forward slashes (`/`)....
This bug burned my entire day yesterday. The workaround also fixed the issue for me.
We just switched to using app authentication and are also seeing this error. Previously (yesterday) we were using token authentication and had no issues with this setting.

Just commenting to say that this appears to still be a problem, two years later :( are we just misunderstanding how this option is supposed to work?
Understood, thanks for clarifying. I think part of the confusion is that clicking "hide boosts" doesn't visually appear to do anything. I still see all boosts on the user's page...
