Yeah this project is effectively in cold-storage, I haven't had the time or interest in a long while to work on this.
I'd likely make the symbolic version thinner to better resemble the one on the folders.

I appreciate the initiative, but PRs should be one (or a few) icons at a time! It's not about organization it's too many changes/additions to review in one pull request....
Should take that up with one of the GNOME icon designers...oh wait, I'm one of them. ;) When the appmenu is actually gone I'll switch the icon if it's necessary

Coverage for the flavours will be something for future releases.
There are cross-distribution icons that are common however, a list of the corresponding icon file-names would be much appreciated.
No clue what the fix would be. the @2x folders are for hidpi screens, so whatever it is, kid3 is not ignoring those folders
The arrow emblem on some of these are out of proportion relative to the background, try comparing with another icon to get the right size.
