yes to the patch . as i said asserts are bad m'kay.., guess nameToAddress should tell is its failed to resolve so the client can react to the invalid address....

It is possible that ip6 is not being used correctly in the above layers.

I would expect some kind of message like `Failed to connect to server... ` followed by another attempt or `Connected to server`. I honestly don't know what would cause this...
