I tested this in my arm vm sometime ago and it seams to work fine. Landing so we can let real users test it out.

Thanks for trying to help. As I stated above we need to write some code to support the xdg-desktop-portal for GlobalShortcuts in order for shortcuts to work on wayland correctly....

@Splutty there is not but #8746 when finished should allow for some switching commands.
