looks like a brackets issue: adobe/brackets#10779 I remember this didn't happen at the past, so I guess it is a bug in their 1.4 release.

Just verified it. I tested the old and new launchers with brackets 1.3 and it works good. I did F5 many times and it works like a charm. 1.4 brackets...

if you go back to 1.3, I recommand you copy the BracketsPortable.ini from my latest 1.4 release to there as it improves many things and prevents data loss.
