Definitely welcome information about potential solutions! We already link to one repo that attempts to rename all your default branches, so perhaps it's time to turn it into a list?
I think we perhaps should introduce context-specific sections underneath relevant terms, i.e. a "Use in electronics" section in the `master`/`slave` section (once alternatives have been decided on).
