Is project discontinued ?
I'am looking for an extension or some to move from firefox and tab tree plugin to chromium. is seems there are no commits since spring. is project dead ?
I haven't been actively working on it recently true, and I don't really intend to continue working in it due to Google's recent announcement to discontinue apps in chrome.
So yes, you can probably consider this project dead unless you'd like to take it up yourself or something? =)
This is a cool idea really! Excellent design and implementation, and I am very pleased to see the project on free license. I want to see this browser completed :) I hope that someone will find the strength and will continue this project. Thanks!
Hmm I'm considering perhaps working on this project again given that it still seems to be quite popular on the Chrome Store and will be available for desktop use probably until around mid-2017 (according to https://blog.chromium.org/2016/08/from-chrome-apps-to-web.html).
Perhaps a move to electron would work quite well too as an alternative, although most users seem to be using Chrome OS, so it would be sensible to at least continue to support that.
Yeah, cool, thanks! We are looking forward to the new release!
I haven't actually managed to get around to spending any further time on this unfortunately. I'd like to be able to, but there are too many other commitments / projects that need my attention at the moment.
I do hope I will be able to continue working on it in the future, but probably won't be in the near term. Feel free to fork this to continue development / submit Pull Requests.
This is super valuable to me, and to a number of my friends, so I would say it will be kept functional in some form for a while at least. Great work so far! Everything works well and looks super professional etc.
I have been working on it! This project is cool! Here is my version to download! - Click Here!
Hi @KingOfCoders
Great to see you're working on it. Do you plan on pushing your changes to a git repo somewhere so that people can see progress / track the changes you're making?
Thanks, Sam.
I will soon.
