Sounds like a good feature request, and certainly doable!
So you shouldn't need to have those other steps beforehand, as the ssh agent and key etc... is all handled automatically by the action, I wonder if they're somehow interfering...

I haven't been actively working on it recently true, and I don't really intend to continue working in it due to Google's recent announcement to discontinue apps in chrome. So...
Hmm I'm considering perhaps working on this project again given that it still seems to be quite popular on the Chrome Store and will be available for desktop use probably...
I haven't actually managed to get around to spending any further time on this unfortunately. I'd like to be able to, but there are too many other commitments / projects...
