Your device is probably not detected by adb (execute `adb devices`).

This is an encoder issue on the device. Try with another [encoder](https://github.com/Genymobile/scrcpy/blob/master/README.md#encoder).

@heurekus Try uninstalling the snap version and installing the latest version manually: https://github.com/Genymobile/scrcpy/blob/master/doc/linux.md#latest-version
On Windows, just download the latest release.
